Competitions
We participated in many tournaments, giving our students the opportunity to compete, teach and learn from their peers at the level of the country and the world.
Competition is a great way for motivation and fast learning. Competitions build important interpersonal skills that prepare students for the workplace later in life. It also helps them succeed socially and academically in school.
ORCE
The tournament includes four competitions for robot programming and design, which are:
1- Sumo Sumo
2- Trace a line Trace a line
3- Collect the balls the balls
4- Open Open Competition
The Egyptian Open Robot Championship qualifies the participating teams to
participate in the annual Arab Open Robot Championship, which is held every year in one of the Arab countries.
FIRST LEGO League
FIRST LEGO League guides youth through STEM learning and exploration at an
early age. From Discover, to Explore, and then to Challenge, students will understand the basics of
STEM and apply their skills in an exciting competition while building habits of learning,
confidence, and teamwork skills along the way.
Minesweeper
Minesweepers is an international robotic competition
on humanitarian demining that aims at motivating researchers
and developers to work on innovative solutions for this serious problem.
VEX
All students are natural scientists and engineers. They love to question, tinker, experiment and play.
VEX competitions foster these skills and capitalize on the motivational effects of competitions and robotics
to help all students create an identity as a STEM learner. VEX competitions are also a great way to
expose students to valuable soft skills like communication, collaboration and time-management in a fun
and authentic way. The VEX Robotics competition prepares students to become future innovators with 95%
of participants reporting an increased interest in STEM subject areas and pursuing STEM-related careers.
Tournaments are held year-round at the regional, state, and national levels and culminate at the VEX Robotics World Championship each April!
